Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about classes, schedules, pricing, refunds, and how we make learning safe and accessible.

Do I need prior experience?

No. Our beginner track starts from first principles: safe warm-ups, foundational scene work, listening exercises, and camera basics. You can join with zero training and progress confidently.

What language are classes taught in?

English. We focus on clarity, intention, and intelligibility while honoring accents. If you’re building confidence for auditions, we can help with clean reads and timing without forcing a “one-size” sound.

How do schedules work for online live classes?

Each cohort has a fixed weekly time slot so you can build momentum and trust with your group. If you miss a session, you’ll receive guidance on what to practice so you can rejoin without falling behind.

Do you offer certificates?

Yes, upon completion of eligible courses. Certificates are shareable online and include your course name and completion date (useful for portfolios and continuing training records).

Are in-person classes available globally?

We run intensives in select cities while keeping online live options worldwide. If your city isn’t listed, you can still join remotely and get the same coaching structure and assignments.

Can I get a refund?

Full refund up to 7 days before the start date. Within 7 days, refunds may be partial depending on seat availability and instructor allocation. If you’re unsure, reach out before enrolling.

Is ActLab Studio accessible for different needs?

We can adapt pacing, provide written prompts, and offer clear session structure. If you have accommodations to request, contact us in advance so we can align on what helps you do your best work.
